Our Belief at Hope

What God offers us all at Hope Fellowship Church

Being a Christian goes beyond religious identity or moral values—it means embracing biblical truths about God, mankind, and salvation.

The Bible teaches that God personally created humanity to love, serve, and have fellowship with Him (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16). As Creator, He has authority over our lives and deserves our worship and obedience (Psalm 103:19).

God is perfectly holy (Isaiah 6:3) and cannot approve of evil (James 1:13). He commands holiness from us (1 Peter 1:16), yet all people are guilty of sin (1 Kings 8:46; Romans 3:10-12) and incapable of pleasing God on their own.

Sin demands eternal punishment (Ezekiel 18:4; Romans 6:23), but God, in His love, provided Jesus as Savior. Through His death, Christ satisfied God’s justice and holiness (1 Peter 3:18; 2 Corinthians 5:21), offering salvation to those who place their faith in Him (Romans 10:9; 3:26).

Genuine faith includes repentance—acknowledging sin, turning from it, and pursuing Christ in obedience (Luke 13:3; 1 John 2:3). Mere belief isn’t enough; true saving faith leads to a transformed life (Ephesians 2:10).
